Our extensive function facilities have the flexibility to cater for a wide range of requirements, including the unique setting of the Heritage Suite, all our function suites are licensed for music, singing and dancing until 1am.

Our wide range of Buffet and Function menus can be complemented by one of our drinks packages, or you may wish to select from our extensive wine list. Our Wedding Co-ordinator will be delighted to discuss any special requirements.

The Full Wedding Package is available for a minimum 60 and maximum 115 guests attending a Wedding Breakfast followed by an Evening Reception for a minimum 100 and maximum 170 guests. For parties with lower numbers, a room hire charge may apply.

For smaller weddings that still may require the Full Wedding Package please enquire with our Wedding Co-Ordinator.

WEDDING CEREMONIES & CIVIL PARTNERSHIPS

At the Vermont Hotel we have a Licence for Civil Wedding Ceremonies, a room hire charge of £250.00 is applicable for numbers of guests up to 50 and £390.00 is applicable for numbers of guests between 50 and 200. It is recommended that you make contact directly with the Superintendent Registrar at Newcastle Civic Centre to make necessary arrangements for your Ceremony to be held at The Vermont Hotel.

BAR FACILITIES

Bar facilities and dancing are available until 1.00am unless you require otherwise.

EVENING RECEPTION

To enable you to invite all those family and friends who were unable to attend the Reception, you may wish to extend your celebrations into the evening. We would be pleased to discuss your requirements.

Providing that an evening buffet with a minimum of 100 is chosen from the enclosed suggestions, no room hire charge will be made. The only additional cost will be for your chosen entertainment such as a Disco or Band which we will be pleased to arrange for you. We recommend that a minimum of 75% of the guests attending the evening Reception are catered for.

CHANGING ROOM

A changing room for the Bridesmaids will be provided free of charge, until 5pm

BOOKING CONDITIONS

For all bookings we require a minimum deposit of £450 and confirmation in writing with approximate times and numbers. All charges will be made on numbers given 2 weeks prior to the Reception.

YOUR PERSONAL CONTACT

A dedicated Wedding Co-ordinator will handle your booking. She will be your main contact at The Vermont to help you with all your arrangements. A dedicated Manager will be responsible for looking after you on your special day.

WEDDING MENUS AT THE VERMONT

We have created 4 wedding menus which offer you a choice menu.

The menu on the day is a set menu and we request that you provide us with choice of starter, main course and dessert prior to your wedding

Wines and Drinks are charged as chosen from our wine and drinks list.

We do not offer a corkage facility.

Should you wish a vegetarian dish or a specific dish which is not listed please ask your wedding co-ordinator.

All of our main courses include seasonal vegetables as well as either potatoes, rice or pasta.

Our Wedding packages are just a guide and they can be fine tuned to your individual requirements.

We guarantee that you will be the only wedding party at the Vermont on your Wedding day.
