The Vermont Hotel’s Manhattan Style twelve storey tower boasts a prominent setting next to the historic Castle and is within the Business, Retail, Entertainment and Quayside areas of the City. Full Secretarial Services are available from our Business Centre, as and when you require them, including extensive communication facilities.

Our professional Conference and Banqueting team specialise in creating any type of event that you may be planning and are dedicated to meeting your requirements. They will be on hand throughout your function to ensure that everything goes according to plan.

THE HERITAGE SUITE

No other venue in Newcastle can provide such a setting as that provided by the Heritage Suite. Formerly the Council Chamber for the Northumberland County Council, much of the original character has been retained including the tall leaded windows which depict the Commercial and Industrial Heritage of the Region. It is beautifully finished in oak panelling and with its high ceiling and elegant columns it provides the perfect setting for both business and social occasions.

Its height and balcony allow for unlimited AV capabilities to stage any presentation with ease. Full blackout facilities, a 60 amp, three phase power supply, numerous 5 and 13 amp sockets, telephone and television points are provided to meet even the most demanding of situations. In addition the provision of a 2 Channel ISDN line provides the facility for video conferencing, data reception and transfer. The raised stage area at the North side of the room is ideal for Presentations or Seminars requiring a 'Top Table' set up.

With the Heritage Suite being close by the Stephenson and Anderson Suites the opportunity exists to combine all three for Business Events for up to 220 Guests.
